The project strives to echo the culture, history, and topography
of the Western ghats mountainous region of India. Historic architecture inspires spaces to connect the past and the
present. The designed jali pattern is derived by layering jali
patterns from different dynasties, almost like a historical footprint. Geometry also plays a vital role in passive ventilation
strategies to achieve comfortable indoor conditions. The central pathway acts like a spine to connect public spaces with eight residential hamlets and six distinct academic areas, making it a sustainable and walkable architectural fabric native to the region.
